Progressive Technology-Caring Approach

“One machine can do the work of 50 ordinary men. No machine can do the work of one extraordinary man.”

-E. Hubbard

That sums up the experience you will have in Dr. Reilly’s hands. While his expertise is unmatched and unchallenged, there have been a number of technology advances that aid us in achieving the stunning results our patient’s experience.

Below are just a few of the progressive technologies utilized in our office, if you haven’t been to the dentist in a while you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Polaris Intra-Oral Camera

One of the most valuable tools in our practice is the intra-oral camera, which enables you to see what we see – seeing is believing. We feel you should understand exactly what is going on in your mouth. Imaging the pictures enables you to visualize what is possible to improve or enhance your smile and helps you to make informed treatment decisions.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-rays are faster and contain less radiation than traditional X-rays. When a patient has a digital X-ray done, the image appears on the computer in a matter of seconds. Your dentist can then zoom into the image to better assess and educate the patient regarding their oral health. Digital X-rays are also less harmful for patients as they contain up to 90% less radiation compared to traditional X-rays.

Dental Lasers

Dental Lasers have transformed oral surgery by offering minimally-invasive alternatives to traditional scalpel incisions and sutured closures. Laser light is extremely efficient, producing very little heat as it acts on its target making it ideal for oral surgery, since it seldom affects tissues other than that targeted.. The laser provides precise control over the depth and extent of cutting, while simultaneously minimizing bleeding and sterilizing the treatment area.

In addition a laser can also cure (harden) dental materials, scan teeth to detect decay, vaporize decay and prep teeth for fillings, and activate whitening gel to brighten smiles. Advanced Dentistry uses dental lasers for a number of treatment options including gum disease treatments, gum re-contouring, and super-fast laser tooth whitening procedures.

OraVerse- Local Anesthetic Reversal

Advanced Dentistry was the first dental office in Central New Jersey to offer OraVerse, a new
product which reverses the effects of local anesthesia. After treatment requiring local anesthesia, you’ll be able to return to your normal routine more quickly, it cuts the time of being numb in half and is administered after treatment is completed. It is the first and only local anesthetic reversal agent that accelerates the return to normal sensation and function for patients who want to avoid the unwanted and unnecessary lingering soft tissue numbness after routine dental procedures.

Cosmetic Digital Imaging

Imagine being able to see your new smile even before treatment has begun. That’s where cosmetic digital imaging comes into play. This technology allows us to create images of your mouth, as if the cosmetic procedures have been completed. We can then view these images together, and if necessary modify the image until it shows us exactly what you want. With digital imaging your results are predictable.

By continually educating ourselves on the latest advances in dentistry – you can be assured you are getting the best care possible.
