Read Transcript You’re not just a patient to our Middlesex dental team; you’re our guest as well! Find out more about them below.
I think here at Advanced Dentistry, the staff is truly exceptional in the fact that we like to keep our patients comfortable and happy. We like to take care of their main concern. I mean, we greet them, we talk about their family for a little bit. If they just want to get straight to business, we get straight to business. So I think we try to make it comfortable for whoever comes in these doors. We try to treat their chief complaint, we try to make them happy. We try to joke and lighten up the mood, if they're okay with that. If they're not okay with that, then we get down to business and we treat them. I really think here we're truly trained to treat our patients with care, with respect, how you would want to be treated if you went to a doctor's office. You don't want to be left outside waiting for so long. Obviously we understand that people have busy lives and nobody wants to spend forever at the doctor's office. We understand that when you come in, you want a smile to greet you, you want to sit down, you want to be comfortable in the chair since you might be in there for a little bit. So I think that here we are really just great at treating the patient as a whole, not just dentally, but even emotionally. We get to know them as friends and as family, we don't treat them as patients. It's just a very caring and great place to be, in addition to them receiving really the most quality dental work that I have seen in surrounding areas.

Josie joined the Advanced Dentistry team in 1992 as a chairside assistant. She is trained as both an assistant and patient coordinator. In fact, she received her DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) in her native Philippines in 1983. She is also both a certified and registered dental assistant, with her license in radiography. Like all members of the Advanced Dentistry team, she logs hundreds of hours of continuing education to keep abreast of the latest advances in dentistry. Josie has a fondness for nature photography and continues to hone her art. She and her husband, Pat, live in a beautiful Victorian home in Three Bridges with their two sons, Sean and Terry.

Edna Dental Assistant
Edna joined our team early in 2018 after working in the dental field for 10 years. Before she became a dental assistant, Edna worked as a nurse at The Rehabilitation Center in Manhattan, NY. She is originally from the Philippines and, prior to moving to the United States, she earned both her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and a bachelor of science in nursing. As a dental auxiliary, she provides a wealth of knowledge that is uncommon in the dental field. She loves to travel, swim, and spends lots of time going out with family and friends.
Ellen Dental Assistant
Ellen graduated from Saint Paul College with a bachelor of science degree in education. She is a certified clinical dental assistant with a radiography license. In her 10-plus years with the Advanced Dentistry team, Ellen has logged over 200 hours of continuing education, including all levels of the Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry curriculum. Additionally, Ellen is a masters graduate from Dental Boot Kamp, where she perfected her patient care skills.
Ellen has a bubbly personality and is always smiling (especially since Dr. Reilly completed her smile makeover). She and her husband, Gerald, have two children, Joshua and Geraldine, who keep them very busy. Ellen enjoys karaoke singing and ballroom dancing. Don’t be surprised if she breaks out in song during your dental appointment!
