When it comes to dental implant placement, sometimes less is more. Using fewer dental implants is easier on your jaw and often less expensive. Those are two reasons we offer All-on-4® dental implants in Middlesex, but they aren’t the only ones.Doctor Ralph Reilly on All on Four Read Transcript
The All-on-4 has really been a miracle, I think, in dentistry. It allows people that have either failing teeth or no teeth to literally have permanent perfect teeth that not only look great but allow them to chew, eat anything they want. It's done in a way that previous techniques, while it was possible, it could involve a very lengthy treatment and extremely expensive treatment. We almost jokingly say that for two cups of Starbucks coffee a day, you can have beautiful permanent teeth that you're chewing and eating anything you want, smiling confidently, not putting your dentures in a glass at night, or having your wife or your kids or anybody see you with no teeth for the rest of your life. It's just been amazing. What a tremendous advancement.
An All-on-4 dental implant procedure also:
- May help you avoid a bone graft or other surgical procedures
- Requires a shorter recovery time than many other implant placements
- Leaves your palate exposed in the upper jaw, which enables you to more fully taste and enjoy food
- Can enable us to perform a same-day smile procedure, so you can enjoy immediate oral function
Call 732-506-2876 today to schedule a dental implant consultation. Our implant dentists will examine you, discuss your needs, and help determine which implants are best for you.

The All-on-4 dental treatment option, implant option, is a remarkable technology that was created by Dr. Paulo Malo. This initial treatment, now that has been in existence for a decade or so, is an incredible option because it can replace the missing teeth to give a patient an immediate result the day that the teeth are taken out and the implants are put in. They can leave with teeth. They're on a soft diet, but regardless, you can chew. Aesthetically, it looks fantastic. They never have to skip a beat where they don't have teeth or they feel less of themselves, ability-wise and aesthetically.
Dr. Reilly and myself have kind of, over time, over many years together, and doing hundreds and thousands of cases, we've kind of found out that sometimes giving a few extra implants, in addition to the four, helps just giving some backup and some additional space. We will often do, really, six implants. It can vary. It depends what bone is there and how we think that the patient can be best served and what will be their best result.
The All-on-4 is not even comparable to a traditional denture because a traditional denture is something that's going to come in and out of your mouth, kind of like almost a piece of furniture. It comes in and out of your mouth. Patients do get used to it. They get used to functioning with it and smiling with it. But the All-on-4 is fixed. It's permanent. It does not come out of your mouth. It feels like natural teeth. It's like a patient that's a contact wearer that they just don't even realize their contacts are in their eyes, but it's just what they're dealing with every day. You do clean around it, and you still need to get the implants and the prothesis cleaned twice a year. But it's like you have natural teeth that will not get periodontal disease and will not get cavities.
We think it’s important for you to know exactly what you’ll pay before your procedure. To keep your All-on-4 dental implants cost predictable, we offer an all-inclusive fee. You won’t have to worry about any unexpected or additional costs. Even your sedation is covered! Our fee includes:
- Any needed tooth extractions
- Implant placement
- Restoration with replacement teeth
- IV sedation
Your cost won’t change, even if our implant dentists determine you need six or seven implants to secure your replacement teeth instead of just four. In the rare instance an implant fails, we’ll replace it at no added charge. Additionally, Nobel Biocare, which provides our high-quality implant materials, will send a written warranty for the implant components after your procedure.
Our All-on-4 Experience Is Showing
We were one of the first dental practices in central New Jersey to offer the All-on-4 procedure. Careful placement of implants is the key to making it work. At our office, two highly trained dentists, Dr. Beth Dorfman and Dr. Ralph Reilly, work as a team to efficiently complete their part of the process.
Dr. Reilly is an international trainer, clinical instructor, and speaker at institutions such as the Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry, and he has completed extensive training in implants and cosmetic dentistry, including the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies continuum. Along with Dr. Dorfman, a board-certified periodontist who will place your implants, he will help you get a beautiful, functional smile.
In addition to our skilled team, we use:
- 3-D imaging to identify optimal areas for placement
- Digitally guided surgery to make your placement as foolproof as possible
- Technology from Nobel Biocare, a pioneer in the All-on-4 concept
If you’re still anxious about your procedure, despite our experience, you can choose one of four kinds of dental sedation. If you choose general anesthesia, it will be administered by board-certified anesthesiologist Dr. Jay Patel.
